Research
A few things I'm learning and working on.
Current focus
I am interested in using mathematical and computational methods to better understand complex signals—especially in music, health, and perception. I enjoy research that asks both technical and human questions.
Research experience
Multimodal Temporal Modeling with ECG and Chest X-rays
- Working with Professor Yiran Chen on multimodal medical AI and longitudinal patient modeling.
- Supporting clinical data preprocessing, patient-level alignment, temporal dataset construction, and model development.
- Exploring deep-learning approaches that connect physiological signals with medical imaging data.
Mathematical Modeling of Music and Brainwaves
- Working with Professor Huaxiong Huang on relationships between musical stimuli and brainwave patterns.
- Analyzing time-series brainwave data through frequency-domain and time-frequency representations.
- Using mathematical and computational models to study music perception.
